Our Mission
Our mission is to operate a not-for-profit community radio station that reflects the diverse interests and needs of the Twain Harte and Sonora region, fostering connections and a sense of belonging through high-quality, local-focused programming. We provide a platform for sharing music, arts, culture, news, and opinions while promoting community access and participation.
We are committed to empowering volunteers and broadcasters by developing personal skills, encouraging creativity, and fostering inclusivity. Our station serves as a hub for diverse voices, and we embrace healthy debate while maintaining respect for all. Bigotry and personal attacks have no place in our discourse.
Our values center around providing essential local information, including news, weather, road closures, fire updates, and reports on recreation such as skiing, fishing, and tourism. We prioritize entertainment through curated shows by passionate local enthusiasts, with a special focus on music that cannot be found elsewhere.
We engage our community by offering educational programs, a calendar of events, and encouraging listeners to share their unique experiences and sightings—from wildlife to the unexplained—enhancing the collective sense of adventure and connection in the foothills.
Our Team
Our team is a group of passionate locals dedicated to showcasing the unique voices, music, and stories of the Twain Harte and Sonora communities. From experienced broadcasters to volunteers, we work together to create engaging, diverse programming that reflects the spirit of our region and strengthens community connections.
